Travelodge by Wyndham Bishop

Easy check in and check out process. Room is fitting for a solo traveller like myself. A couple will do well too for the room size. Breakfast was sufficient and the facilities was also enough. I used the laundry service, keep in mind there is only one dryer and one washing machine. I didn't have to wait. The heater/air cond was good and the room was quite clean. I think it was worth my money as I was on a budget. The microwave came in handy and the internet was very slow but I realised that I could switch to a different server then it was lightning speed, just a tip.

This hotel was rated 4 stars so I felt safe with staying there however, as soon as I walked in the lobby I knew I had made a HUGE mistake with my booking. The lobby was dirty, grounds were dirty, there were roaches dead and alive all over the walkway and grounds. My room was disgusting. The smelled and look like a pack of dirty dogs had pooped and peed on the carpet. Stains everywhere! It stunk inside to no end! I was floored to say the least. To make matters worse we had ants and bugs in the room. I got bit by something on my leg that left a big bump. The staff was very nice but the establishment leave much to be desired. Beware of this hotel! I hated every minute of my stay! It was horrific!!!

We arrived at the motel at around 4 p.m., but there was no room ready because the cleaning was not finished, so I had to waited and checked in at almost 5 p.m. The toilet and bathtub had drainage issues, and the breakfast menu had very limited options.

The parking is not clearly marked. You find a very small dead end parking lot first that was full. No signs directing you to the larger lot on the other side of the Building. No parking space for registration. High sloping step to sidewalk and no railing. Can not imagine it in winter.

There was not any handicap downstairs rooms in the building with no elevator but there was for a person with a pet.

Bugs found in my room, front desk couldn't help. Got a refund went somewhere else.

This motel was ok until I discovered a live cockroach wandering along the floor.

No bottom unit even though I requested it am handy cap was very hard to go up
